Seattle’s historic Roosevelt Hotel was reborn as Hotel Theodore. We played a part in the significant renovation, collaborating to transform each of the common spaces into vibrant, contemporary statements, while preserving the history of the original property.

From top to bottom.

We had a hand in the entire scope of the iconic hotel’s renovation, from the inside out. The transformation included a penthouse with panoramic views of the city, the upscale Rider restaurant, the mellow Made Cafe, the two-story atrium, the unique meeting rooms and even the building’s historic facade.

Balancing history with luxury.

The interior design honors the city’s long tradition of makers and innovators. Preserving the original art deco touches, each space reflects a hand-crafted, custom-tailored aesthetic. The atrium perfectly reflects the original styling, with meticulous consideration in every detail, down to the geometric hand and guard railings.

Location, location, location.

In the heart of Seattle, the highly anticipated bar and restaurant, Rider, is the perfect place to grab a bite after visiting Pike Place. The environment is a nod to the city—refined yet industrial. Copper, brass and blackened steel are incorporated into the window surrounds, hanging gantry bar racks, wine cabinet, wood storage, expo bar and kitchen hood.

Thoughtful details.

Throughout the entire hotel, the focus on craftsmanship is evident. Architectural and small-scale details are considered to reflect an upscale yet comfortable experience.
